Ingredients
- ½ cup water lukewarm
- 1 sachet 7g dry yeast
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- 1½ cups plain flour
Instructions
- Place warm water in a shallow bowl. Add yeast, salt, sugar and oregano. Stir to dissolve yeast. Add ½ cup flour and blend all ingredients, until smooth. Stir in remaining flour. Cover, in a bowl, with cling wrap and allow to rise for 20 minutes. Spread dough evenly with oiled spoon, on a 12" tray or 2 x 8" trays. Cover with tomato paste, cheese, ham, pineapple etc.
- Cook in a 200 degrees celsius oven until the base is cooked and the cheese is beginning to brown.
