Beer Cake

Beer Cake
Ingredients
  • 100 grams butter
  • 4 cups SR Flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups beer
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup mixed fruit
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
Instructions
  1. Rub the butter into the flour. Mix sugar and spice into flour. Then add the fruit and egg. Add beer, mixing well. Pour into a 10 inch baking dish.
  2. You can add this topping to it:
  3. cup plain flour, 1 cup sugar, 80 grams of butter. Crumble together and sprinkle over the cake.
  4. Bake at 160 C for around 30 minutes.
