Ingredients
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 peaches, sliced
  • 8 strawberries
  • 3 cups apple juice
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients. Blend in blender until smooth.

Ingredients
  • 1 kg seedless watermelon rind removed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 x 250g punnet strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 125g (1 cup) frozen raspberries
  • 1 bottle of chilled mineral water
Instructions
  1. Blend all fruits together and divide into serving glasses. Top each glass with mineral water and serve.

  • 1 pear, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons almond meal (ground almonds)
  • 1 cup of soy milk (or skim milk)
  • ⅓ cup yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon almond essence
  • 3 ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Blend and enjoy!
  2. You can use a good blender or a hand blender (like a barmix) in a stainless steel milkshake cup.

Paw Paw and Kiwi Smoothie

  • ½ medium paw paw (papaya), chilled or frozen
  • 1 kiwi fruit, chilled or frozen
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • ⅓ cup yogurt
  • 3 icecubes
Instructions
  1. Blend with a hand blender or in a normal blender.

  • 100 grams frozen mixed berries
  • 1½ cups low fat soy milk
  • 30g protein powder (not needed)
  • ½ cup cranberry juice
Instructions
  1. I blend all this is a stainless steel milkshake cup with a hand held blender but in a blender is good.
  2. I made this as I am on a diet and detox so it had to be low fat, no dairy or wheat. The cranberry juice is light (8 calories per 100ml).
  3. If I wasn't so restricted I would have added ½ cup of low fat yogurt instead of ½ cup of soy. Also maybe wheat germ. (ifyou don't mind the texture)

  • 3 kiwi fruit
  • 1½ cups low fat soy milk
  • 30g protein powder (not needed)
  • ¼ teaspoon coconut essence

  1. Peel and cut the kiwi fruit in half. I blend all this is a stainless steel milkshake cup with a hand held blender but in a blender is good.
  2. Cooking essences can be a great way to change the flavour of smoothies, you only need the tiniest amount and they come in range of flavours.
  3. I made this as I am on a diet and detox so it had to be low fat, no dairy or wheat.
  4. If I wasn't so restricted I would have added ½ cup of low fat yogurt instead of ½ cup of soy.

  • three tbs of vanilla ice-cream
  • two tbs of honey
  • four bananas
  • one cup of ice
  • one cup of milk
  • four tbs of milo

  1. add ice-cream, bannanas, honey, milk and milo to a blender. blend till smooth and then put ice in blender and blend until ice is crushed. enjoy
