- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 cups self raising flour
- pinch salt
- ½ cup milk
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add lightly beaten eggs and vanilla essence. Beat together.
- Fold in flour and salt.
- Mix in milk.
- Pour mixture into greased cake tin.
- Bake in a moderatly hot (180°c - 190°c) for 15 - 20 minutes.
