Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- ¼ teaspoon mustard
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1kg blade steak
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1½ cups water
Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, mustard, pepper and salt. Rub well into steak on both sides. Place in a casserole dish. Combine tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and water. Bring to the boil and pour over steak in the casserole. Bake in a slow oven (160C) and cook for 2½ hours or until chops are tender.
