- 100 grams butter
- 4 cups SR Flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups beer
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup mixed fruit
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- Rub the butter into the flour. Mix sugar and spice into flour. Then add the fruit and egg. Add beer, mixing well. Pour into a 10 inch baking dish.
- You can add this topping to it:
- cup plain flour, 1 cup sugar, 80 grams of butter. Crumble together and sprinkle over the cake.
- Bake at 160 C for around 30 minutes.
