Brandy Sauce

Brandy Sauce
  • 30g butter
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sweet sherry
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • ¼ cream
  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan, add flour and cook for a few minutes. Gradually add milk , stirring continuously until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in sherry, brandy sugar and cream. Reheat but do not let it boil. Makes about 1 cup.
